Haeata - Pronounced : 'hi-uh-ta'

Māori meaning : beam of light, dawn.

This design is inspired by te rā (the sun).

Earring details : Stainless Steel studs, bright silver metals, with five varying length strands of wharariki (NZ flax).

Ear Studs : Stainless Steel Hypoallergenic

Length (flax leaf) : approximately 2cm - 4cm in length (strands)

Made using Wharariki NZ mountain flax, coastal flax (Phormium cookianum) leaf ; a natural material as the main focus.

Being a natural material, please be aware that the colour(s) and condition of the flax leaf may fade or change over time and the pair you receive may differ slightly from the listing photo due to using unique pieces of flax leaf.

Care instructions

Keep bright silver metals dry. Gently pat dry with a dry, clean cloth if required. Do not squash, bend or add weight on top of the flax strands as the impact may cause splitting or damage to the flax leaf.
